Athens is the capital of Greece and the country’s cultural, political, and economical hub. Birthplace of renowned artists and philosophers throughout antiquity, ancient Greek democracy had a deep influence on the design of other political institutions around the world.

There is no place quite like Athens to dive into Ancient Greece and learn about magnificent temples and imposing buildings that have remained standing for centuries. The city’s numerous historic monuments make it a fascinating place to visit for tourists from all over the world. The Parthenon, the Acropolis, and the Ancient Agora are some of the most famous examples of ancient Greek buildings.  

Airport Transfers to/from the hotel: Please note that ground transportation from/to the airport is not arranged. Taxis could be found at the exit of the Airport Terminal. 

Taxi rides must be paid directly to the taxi driver by credit card or cash.

Distance Athens Airport/Hotel: 30 to 40 minutes by car depending on traffic. 

 

Visa : No visa needed from the Schengen countries. If you are from a Non-Schengen country and need a Visa, please let us know in your registration form.

Official Language: Although the official language in Greece and Athens is Greek, English is also widely spoken

Official Currency: The official currency in Greece is the Euro.

Weather: The weather in Athens in March produces very mild days for much of the month. The average daytime high temperature’s 17°C and should only drop to about 10°C at night.
